DisneyBound Week 16: Drizella & Anastasia

Another one of the Disney classics that’s every little girl’s favorite go-to princess story is Cinderella. While the two step sisters are horrible, snooty little brats, the colors in their outfits are so much fun. I have to say, my favorite part of this DisneyBound challenge would have to be the colors. It forces me to put together colors and outfits I never would pair together . Thank goodness for Miel, or I would have been pretty doomed on Drizella.

DisneyBound Week 1: Peter Pan

I won’t grow up,
(I won’t grow up)
I don’t want to go to school.
(I don’t want to go to school)
Just to learn to be a parrot,
(Just to learn to be a parrot)
And recite a silly rule.
(And recite a silly rule)
If growing up means
It would be beneath my dignity to climb a tree,
I’ll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up
Not me!

I remember learning this song in Drama when I was little and still somehow remember a lot of the lyrics. Peter Pan is such a fun movie, and this look was a blast to throw together. While I don’t have a huge collection of green, it came together quite easily.

DisneyBound Week 2: Ariel – Kiss The Girl

The Little Mermaid was my absolute favorite movie growing up (you know the kind the kid asks to watch 800 times in a row until the VHS tape wears out). That being said, I wasn’t all that inspired by this particular scene in the movie. I wasn’t a huge fan of the outfit, but oh well…here’s my closest interpretation of the look from the movie.

Chocolate Shakes

So today I was totally jonesin’ for a chocolate shake in RL and went to a popular little retro diner to have one. Today’s look is just sort of a cutesy soda fountain outfit for a little date with Daddy. Love Soul has the most adorable little food accessories and mouthies. It’s been around forever and is still one of my favorite stores.

Comic Nerds

Daddy looked so hot today, and kind of gave off a bit of a Rockabilly vibe, so I threw on my cute new !lamb hair from the Hair Fair 2013, some other random pieces of clothes and ended up with this super cute Retro Nerd look perfect for perusing through the aisles of the local comic shop.

DisneyBound Week 3: Gaston

Ok…didn’t I tell you my man is pretty much the hottest man on the grid?

He looks so hot in his mancave. Although he doesn’t guzzle raw eggs like the real Gaston,

he looks like a total stud muffin.

DisneyBound Week 4: Snow White

There is something about the older Disney movies that is just...special.
The words they used, and just everything about them is so graceful and
pretty. My prince has already come, but this song is just so beautiful,
so I thought I'd post the lyrics to one of the best classic
Disney movie songs of all time.

Some day my prince will come
Some day we'll meet again
And away to his castle we'll go
To be happy forever I know

Some day when spring is here
We'll find our love anew
And the birds will sing
And wedding bells will ring
Some day when my dreams come true

DisneyBound Week 5: Dory

Just keep swimming…just keep swimming..

Who doesn’t love the adorable ditz of Disney’s Finding Nemo. I Love how vibrant Dory’s colors are, and just couldn’t help myself but to tint streaks in one of my quirkier TRUTH hairs, Cate. This outfit is not something I’d typically wear, but I love the creativity factor in trying to copy such colorful characters in fashion. …Dory is the best and so is Ellen DeGeneres.

DisneyBound Week 6: Merida

Oh man, I love women Disney characters that can kick some major butt. Mulan is one, as is one of the newest Members of the Disney family, the Irish bombshell Merida. I loved the whole story of Disney’s Brave, so I had so much fun doing an SL inspired Merida. The challenge was doing this look without getting too costume-y as Disneybounding is all about everyday, wearable looks. Here’s little red herself…

DisneyBound Week 7: Kuzco

Well , this character catch-up isn’t one I’m all too familiar with, since I haven’t seen the Emperor’s New Groove, but it was still fun to continue on my journey to get through all the weeks of Disney. So here is my best attempt at Kuzco!
